  7. I just returned from Berlin and got a new IC-W2E. This unit has 
  8. frequency limitations. Not useful while travelling abroad.

  10. But: the programming tips for the IC-24AT apply. The receiving frequency 
  11. range can be increased by "B" and "#" keys while turning on for aircraft 
  12. band plus 740 to 940 MHz band etc. Also the extended ham bands can be 
  13. received. Cross band can be programmed by "funct" "5" and "D" while 
  14. turning on. 
  15.  To input the complete frequency via keyboard you must set the 
  16. "PL" to 100. <FUNC><8/SET> ans scan^ until PL .
