- I just returned from Berlin and got a new IC-W2E. This unit has
- frequency limitations. Not useful while travelling abroad.
-
- But: the programming tips for the IC-24AT apply. The receiving frequency
- range can be increased by "B" and "#" keys while turning on for aircraft
- band plus 740 to 940 MHz band etc. Also the extended ham bands can be
- received. Cross band can be programmed by "funct" "5" and "D" while
- turning on.
- To input the complete frequency via keyboard you must set the
- "PL" to 100. <FUNC><8/SET> ans scan^ until PL .
